We are looking for passionate Nursery Practitioner’s to join our friendly professional HDN family. We have recently been awarded Outstanding with Ofsted. We are a 20 minute drive from Lancaster. Why sit in traffic when you can enjoy a relaxing scenic drive to work. Take in the views of the countryside on your way to work.
Ideally, you should be able to read stories upside down with at least 3 interruptions per page.
Possessing the skills required to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small humans.
Nose wiping skills are desirable
The ability to sing in tune is not necessary, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of a group of tiny people is essential.
Finally you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many small children and their families.

Our nursery is a lively setting with lots of creativity and has a team that is dedicated to the care of children. We are looking for an individual to provide a hands-on, fun, creative and an innovative environment for children.
Hornby Day Nursery provides the highest standard of nursery care and education in our outstanding village nursery. Hornby is a 20 minute drive from Lancaster. Drive to work through the scenic Lune Valley. The only traffic you will encounter are a few tractors.

The ideal applicant:
· Must hold at least Level 2 qualification in childcare.
· A knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families. This is not essential training can be given from our highly qualified experienced team.
