Responsibilities

- Cook crispy, golden fish fillets and perfectly seasoned chips using appropriate frying techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety of all dishes
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods, supporting the team to deliver timely service
- Serve customers with friendly, efficient service, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or fast-food environment is a must
- Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards is essential
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with meal preparation, especially frying techniques for fish and chips, is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Previous experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting is a plus
