THE ROLE
You will help manage a large portfolio of regional investments that supports businesses across the UK. You will work with colleagues, fund managers and other partners to track how funds are performing, support good decision making and help make sure the programme delivers its aims.
In this role, you will prepare reports, review data and carry out investment analysis. You will help colleagues understand fund performance, risks, commitments and opportunities. You will also support investment papers, internal updates and presentations for a range of audiences.
You will work with teams across legal, governance, risk, compliance, finance, operations, policy and communications. You will also work with external fund management organisations and help improve ways of working, including reporting, data quality and operational processes.
You do not need to have followed one set career path to apply. You may have experience in financial services, fund management, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, commercial lending or another investment-related setting. You should be comfortable working with financial information, using tools such as Excel and Power BI, and explaining your findings clearly to others.
You will need to organise your work, manage different tasks and meet deadlines. You will be able to work well with others, communicate clearly, use good judgement and look for practical ways to improve how work is done.
