STaRS Outreach & In-Reach Worker
Stafford
Chase Recovery CIC, as part of the Staffordshire Treatment and Recovery System (STaRS), is excited to recruit to this brand-new Outreach & In-Reach
This is an opportunity to help shape and develop a new service designed to reach people who are not currently accessing treatment and recovery support or find access difficult, including those experiencing homelessness, social exclusion, health inequalities, stigma and other barriers to engagement.
Working as part of the wider STaRS partnership, you will engage with individuals in communities, hostels, HMOs, healthcare settings, criminal justice environments including prison and other locations across Staffordshire. Through assertive outreach, harm reduction, relationship-building and practical support, you will help people access treatment, improve their wellbeing, and move towards their personal goals and recovery.
This is not a traditional support role. We are looking for people who are comfortable working in complex environments, can build trust quickly, make sound decisions, work professionally within clear boundaries, and remain hopeful even when progress is slow.
In return, you will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative county-wide initiative that brings together lived experience, recovery communities, clinical services and partner agencies to improve outcomes for some of Staffordshire's most vulnerable residents.
