Job Description:
At H. Morris & Company Limited, we own, develop and rent commercial properties across four different sites in the Southside of Glasgow. We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Maintenance Supervisor, with a flexible approach, to join our small team.
This would suit someone retired.
Comes with Accommodation - To be negotiated.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing day to day maintenance and upkeep of our properties.
- Assisting clients to resolve any issues they have within our properties.
- Assisting with Health & Safety compliance checks.
- Liaising with contractors to arrange any necessary repairs.
- Operating CCTV system, as required.
- Dealing with phone calls and in-person/email
- Clearing out empty units
- Small joiner works - fixing door closers – changing toilet seats -changing lock batters
- Clearing blocked drainage manholes – jet washing main building clean
- Cleaning box gutter to roof general roof maintenance
- Fresh coat of paint to unit walls & ceiling
- Offloading deliveries with forklift for clients (forklift ticket shall be arranged )
Skills/Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful approach to clients.
- A full driving licence is required.
- Show flexibility to meet operational needs with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
