Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable fitter to join our team, installing fall-restraint systems, abseil access systems and fixed ladders on construction sites throughout Ireland and the UK.
Experience fitting fall-arrest systems, abseil systems, fixed ladders, roofing systems, steelwork or similar construction products would be beneficial but is not essential.
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
- Installing fall restraint systems
- Installing abseil access systems
- Installing fixed ladders and associated safety equipment
- Installing safety lines, posts, anchors, davit systems and associated equipment
- Working from drawings and installation instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools and access equipment
- Carrying out work safely and to the required standard
- Completing basic installation records and taking photographs of completed work
- Working alongside other fitters, site managers and contractors
- Keeping tools, equipment and work areas organised
- Travelling to different construction sites as required
Requirements
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- A valid CSR or equivalent site-safety card
- Comfortable working at height
- Able to use basic hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Pay: £25,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
