We're Sunbox Campers, a small company converting electric vans into campervans at our workshop in East Sussex. Our builds have been featured on Channel 5's Million Pound Motorhomes and in The Telegraph. Customers are usually planning the biggest fun purchase of their lives, and we pride ourselves on being the opposite of a pushy sales operation.
Enquiries have outgrown what the owner can handle alongside everything else. We're looking for an experienced VA to own the follow-through: making sure every enquiry, promise, and warm lead is looked after, quickly and personally.
The ongoing work (12 to 15 hrs/week)
- Work through our HubSpot task queue each weekday so no enquiry or follow-up sits waiting
- Make friendly callback calls to new enquirers (through HubSpot calling, using a Sunbox number): answer the basics from a crib sheet, find out what they're looking for, and book them into a consultation with the owner
- Send what we've promised prospects after calls and consultations: photo galleries, guides, pricing information, each with a short, warm, personal email. We have a library of approved snippets in our house voice to adapt.
- Keep CRM records accurate: conversation notes, next steps, lead sources
- Give warm leads a personal weekly touch, such as photos of a similar build in progress
- Prepare a short Monday summary of pipeline movement for the owner
- Route technical and pricing questions to the owner with a note so nothing is lost
No cold outreach, no sales targets, no persuading anyone of anything. The owner handles all consultations, quotes, and closing. Your calls are about welcome and logistics, not selling.
Requirements
- UK-based, with at least 2 hours available every weekday, ideally including at least an hour in the afternoon (things promised in morning calls go out the same day)
- Excellent, warm, natural written English. This is most of the job.
- A warm, unhurried phone manner. You'll be the first voice many customers hear from us.
- Experience handling client CRMs and confidential customer data. Ideally HubSpot, but similar experience is fine and we'll walk you through our setup.
- Highly organised and self-managing. You notice when something hasn't been done.
- An interest in campervans, travel, or electric vehicles is a real plus
