At Terberg DTS, we're looking for a Technical Support Specialist to be the go-to expert for our service teams and customers. You'll play a key role in supporting engineers across the business, delivering technical guidance, developing talent, and helping resolve the most challenging faults on industry-leading specialist vehicles and equipment.

- Providing expert technical support and guidance to Mobile Service Engineers and service teams.
- Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Supporting engineers through fault-finding and escalation processes.
- Delivering technical training and coaching to develop engineering capability across the business.
- Assisting with customer technical queries and helping resolve escalated issues.
- Carrying out specialist engine, electrical, and diagnostic work when required.
- Using advanced diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and testing equipment to identify effective solutions.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer service.
- City & Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding, particularly auto-electrical systems.
- Experience working on HGVs, specialist vehicles, plant machinery, or similar equipment.
- Strong knowledge of modern diagnostic systems and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work independently and support others effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of Terberg vehicles and equipment.
- Experience delivering technical training or mentoring engineers.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance best practices.
- Knowledge of road traffic regulations and industry compliance requirements.
