Join our team in the ActiveHud service as a Physiotherapist! We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who loves helping others achieve their fitness, wellbeing and performance goals. As the service Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to join a successful multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering a range of sporting performance and community wellbeing programme outcomes here at the University of Huddersfield.
You will coordinate and deliver a comprehensive clinic that meets the needs of individual athletes, teams, wider university & local community members in our high-quality cross campus facilities.
As our Physiotherapist you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality physiotherapy services to the University of Huddersfield community through provision of a clinical service. This will include performance sport athletes, Students’ Union club members, wider student & staff population, external sports teams & individuals and Kirklees members of the public. This role will include some clinical placement supervision of University of Huddersfield students on the BSc Physiotherapy degree programmes.
With a Graduate Diploma and/or degree in Physiotherapy, you will be HCPC registered, hold a valid first aid certificate, and be a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of elite athlete support services and inter-disciplinary sport science, extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and extensive knowledge of sports injury prevention/rehabilitation in sport.
You will also possess a commitment to excellent customer service, self-management skills, and be able to actively reflect on learning whilst demonstrating autonomy, self-awareness, action planning, time management & initiative.

If you are a current student at the University, you are welcome to apply for part-time roles of 16 hours or less per week, unless you are a part-time postgraduate student, in which case you can also apply for full time roles, subject to any visa requirements.
