Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
- Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families
- Support with medication administration under supervision (if qualified)
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with transportation for appointments or outings using company vehicles if required
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with colleagues and service users
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving home visits or transportation duties
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: £14.00 per hour
