Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages on swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role will contribute significantly to the development of our students' swimming abilities and overall enjoyment of the water.
Duties
- Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student, focusing on technique improvement and water safety.
- Educate students about the importance of swimming safety and proper techniques to prevent accidents in the water.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their swimming goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area, ensuring all equipment is safe and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, goals, and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in teaching swimming is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of all ages.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for educating others and fostering a love for swimming in students.
