John Robson Metals Ltd has been at the forefront of safe dismantling and demolition in the Electrical Supply Industry for almost 50 years.
We specialise in High Voltage (HV) Substation dismantling and demolition. This also covers all associated works including, but not exclusive to, transformer disposal, transformer oil disposal, high voltage equipment disposal, cable de-oiling, cable services, PCB and SF6 gas recovery.
The role will require successful candidates to work within a team environment based initially at our main site near Preston. After completion of the initial probationary period, candidates can progress to working at different substation sites up and down the country. The role will require strong teamworking skills and importantly, a positive attitude. It is a requirement to work away from home, usually through the week but with some occasional weekends. This position offers a highly competitive wage with opportunities to continuously progress and work your way up through the company whilst beginning a career within the HV industry. We offer continual training with nationally accredited qualifications, ultimately working towards client authorisations.

Requirements
· A Full and Clean UK Driving licence.
· Team player but also have the initiative to work independently.
· Positive attitude with willingness to learn and engage with the job.
· Ability to work away from home on a regular basis.
Candidates will be given start dates based upon the number of applications received.
- Starting rate £13.00 per hour plus overtime at time and a half
Applicants with a valid HGV Class 2 licence will attract a higher hourly rate of pay.
