Breinton House has large gardens and grounds with river frontage, 3 miles W of Hereford. it has a mature kitchen garden, large greenhouse and an acre of apple orchards.
-Care for, sow, manage and reap vegetable plot
-Care for and manage and use mature composting areas
- Prune and trim fruit trees / shrubs / hedges
-Manage 1 x water garden and 1 x pond with fountain
- Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery (mowers / blowers / trimmers)
- Secure all equipment
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants
- Keeping pathways, drives and yards clean and clear of weeds and rubbish.
Requirements:
- Experienced in gardening with horticultural knowledge
- Landscaping and ground work knowledge
-Genuine interest in plants and horticulture.
- Strong manual skills
- Interpersonal skills but content to work alone
- Flexibility
- Chainsaw trained (desirable)
- Use of sprays ticket (desirable)
