Join an Award-Winning Property Maintenance Team
MSB Property Services Ltd is a well-established and growing property maintenance contractor working in partnership with Housing Associations and Local Authorities throughout Devon and Cornwall.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Multi-Trade Operative to join our reactive maintenance and planned works team.
PLEASE NOTE
This position is NOT suitable for applicants without a recognised trade qualification or relevant industry experience.
Applicants must hold at least one recognised trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or above, City & Guilds, or equivalent) and have experience carrying out property maintenance works within occupied domestic properties.
About the Role
Working within occupied social housing properties, you'll carry out a variety of responsive repairs and planned maintenance works while delivering excellent customer service to our residents.
Typical works include:
- Carpentry
- General building repairs
- Kitchen repairs and installations
- Bathroom repairs
- Internal doors
- Skirting and architraves
- Plaster patch repairs
- Basic plumbing (non-gas)
- Fencing and external repairs
- Minor decorating
- General property maintenance
You'll be trusted to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
✔ A recognised trade qualification (NVQ Level 2 or above, City & Guilds or equivalent) in at least ONE of the following:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Bricklaying
- Plastering
- Painting & Decorating
- Flooring
- General Building
✔ Minimum 3 years' experience in property maintenance or the construction industry.
✔ Experience working within occupied domestic properties.
✔ Full UK Driving Licence.
✔ Ability to work independently.
✔ Excellent customer service skills.
✔ Pride in producing quality workmanship.
✔ Own hand tools.

- IPAF.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Manual Handling.
- First Aid.
- CSCS Card.
