Here for people. Here for communities. Here for you.
Make a real impact every day as a Wellbeing coordinator at Hafod.
This role is part-time, 24-hours per week on a temporary contract with potential for the role to go permanent.
We’re looking for a creative, compassionate and organised individual to join our team, delivering engaging and meaningful activities that enhance the wellbeing of our residents. You’ll design and lead a varied programme of activities, from arts and crafts and group discussions to outings and community engagement, ensuring every individual feels included, valued and connected.
This is a rewarding, people-focused role where you’ll build strong relationships with residents and their families, supporting them to continue hobbies, discover new interests and maintain their independence and sense of purpose.
No two days are the same, and your work will directly improve quality of life for those you support.
We put people first, offering a supportive team environment, opportunities for training and development, and the chance to make a genuine difference every day.
Please note: We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Some of our homes may have limited public transport links, and some shifts start early or finish late. You’ll therefore need reliable transport to and from work.
You will be required to drive a company minibus to support residents attending outings and community activities. A valid driving licence and willingness to undertake MIDAS training are required.
What you’ll be doing
-
Plan and deliver a varied activities programme tailored to residents’ interests, needs and abilities.
-
Encourage participation and meaningful engagement through individual and group activities.
-
Organise and facilitate outings and community connections to support social inclusion.
-
Maintain activity records, manage budgets and gather feedback from residents and families.
-
Promote activities internally and externally, including social media and resident meetings.
You can find the full job description attached for a more detailed overview of the role.
What you’ll bring
- A caring, enthusiastic and creative approach, with a passion for improving wellbeing.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
-
Good organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage activities effectively.
-
Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
-
Basic IT skills and willingness to learn and develop.
Previous care experience isn’t essential, your compassion, reliability and desire to help others are what count.
