We're a small team looking for someone with trade experience who wants a role where you do more than just one thing. You'll learn our full product range, deal directly with customers, source products from suppliers, and get involved in the whole process from enquiry to delivery. What the role involves
You will handle enquiries, process orders, and make sure customers get what they need. That includes working through non-stock orders, chasing suppliers, following up quotes, and being proactive about calling customers rather than waiting for them to call you.
When a customer needs something, we do not have in stock, we find it. We want someone who is keen to pick up the phone to our customers and will build on a loyal customer base, not just process what comes in
Why here
We’re a small close-knit team and you work directly with the owners. If you have a good idea, it doesn’t have to be sent to “head office” you can say so and it will get heard.
We work Monday to Friday. No Saturdays, no bank holidays, Full Christmas shutdown. Hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm one week and 8.30am to 5.30pm the second week.
Who you are
You have worked in a trade wholesale setting for at least three years. That might be plumbing, heating, building materials, electrical, motor factors, industrial supplies, tool hire, or somewhere similar. You do not need to know our products. If you have learned one product range, you can learn another. We will train you.
You take pride in great customer service and you're organised enough to back it up. Orders go out correct, quotes get followed up, and nothing falls through the cracks.
