Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Multiple Stop Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods across various locations within designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to manage multiple stops effectively. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a courier vehicle to complete multiple deliveries across different locations within scheduled routes
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimise time and fuel consumption
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients as required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update tracking systems promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with excellent driving skills
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of local roads and routes
- Physical ability for heavy lifting when handling parcels or goods
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple stops efficiently within tight schedules
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
