Overview
Here at Riverside house care home in Wick we are looking to employ full or part time Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in the care home. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Hours are early shift 7.45am-3pm and late shift 2.45pm-10pm, must be able to do a mix of shifts.
SVQ level 2 in care would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, and dressing.
- Support residents in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping and communication within the care team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
