DS Swim is looking for a professional and motivated Level 2 Swimming Teachers to join our team at a fantastic venue at Mickleover Hotel, Derby on Tuesday evenings.
We deliver structured, progressive swimming lessons with a clear development pathway. As a swim school, we teach swimmers from preschool level through to competitive swimmer standard, with a strong focus on technical development and confidence in the water.
At our Derby pool, lessons are delivered exclusively as 1:1 and 2:1 sessions, allowing teachers to prioritise individual progress and technical detail. Across our wider swim school, we also deliver small group lessons. We believe our teachers are at the centre of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on creating an environment where our team feel supported and respected.
Initially 5 teaching hours per week available across Tuesday & Friday evenings. Additional hours may be available on request for the right candidate, and we anticipate that there will be the opportunity to increase these hours if you wish in the near future.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 and 2:1 lessons at a warm pool in a 4* hotel
- Teach swimmers ranging from preschool to competitive level
- Plan structured sessions focused on technical progression
- Provide clear feedback to swimmers and parents
- Maintain high safety and safeguarding standards
Lessons are delivered in a focused, supportive environment where quality of teaching is prioritised.

- Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualified

Locations
This role is based MIckleover, Derby. DS Swim also operates pools in Nottingham, Ollerton, Bakewell, Chesterfield, and Sheffield Woodhouse, with additional hours potentially available across these sites.
Hours:
Initially 5 hours per week on Tuesday & Friday evenings.
Additional hours or job share may be available for the right candidate.
Start Date: September start, but open to negotiation.
