SearchWorks Construction is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established contractor for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their team based in Hertford.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in highways grounds maintenance who is confident working independently and using a range of grounds maintenance equipment.
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting and verge maintenance
- Strimming and hedge maintenance
- Operating ride-on mowers and other grounds maintenance machinery
- General maintenance of highways and public spaces
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
Essential Requirements
- Previous highways grounds maintenance experience (essential)
- Experience using strimmers, ride-on mowers and other grounds maintenance equipment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to start at short notice
