Responsibilities
- Assist with materials handling tasks including loading, unloading, and moving stock using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipments efficiently.
- Prepare orders by picking and packing items accurately according to specifications to ensure timely dispatch.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space utilization and facilitate easy access for team members.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to identify damages or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Perform heavy lifting safely when handling bulky or heavy items, following proper techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
