We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dispensing Assistant to join our Dispensary team. Responsibilities
- Support the dispensary team with dispensing medications accurately under supervision
- Assist in preparing prescriptions and organising medication stock
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to patients and customers
- Help with maintaining accurate records of medication dispensed and patient information
- Support medication administration procedures as directed by qualified staff
- Ensure the dispensary environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Participate in training sessions to develop knowledge of dispensary procedures and medication management
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, pharmacy experience or knowledge of medication administration is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude
