We are working with a leading property services organisation in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality facilities management services across a diverse property portfolio.
We are looking for people with experience within commercial property or managing a property portfolio.
This role involves managing day-to-day facilities operations, coordinating maintenance and repair works, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring excellent service delivery for clients, occupiers and contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of allocated properties, including inspections, maintenance and operational requirements
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works from assessment through to completion
- Manage contractor relationships, monitor performance and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales
- Arrange and attend site inspections, meetings and property visits, ensuring actions are followed up
- Manage remedial works, including quotations, costs, contractor coordination and progress monitoring
- Ensure compliance records, documentation and maintenance schedules are accurately maintained
- Build strong relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Support reporting, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to urgent facilities issues and provide practical on-site support when required
You will have:
- Proven experience within facilities management, maintenance or property services
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience within commercial property, a multi-site environment or managing a property portfolio
Location: Stockton (Might be occasional travel, to be discussed)
Hours: 40 hours per week (08:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding 30-minute lunch break)
Holiday: 24 days per annum + bank holidays
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
