Weekend & Evening Carer Wanted – Cambridge
We’re looking for a reliable, kind and compassionate self-employed carer to support two elderly couples living in the Cambridge area.
Hours:
Weekend cover (Saturday or Sunday):
- 8:00am – 2:00pm
- 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Weekdays:
- 1–2 evenings per week
- 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Opportunity for additional hours after starting.
Pay:£15 per hour (self-employed)
Duties:
- Assist with personal care, dressing and daily routines
- Prepare simple meals
- Provide companionship and support
- Light household tasks
- Help clients remain comfortable and independent in their own homes
Requirements:
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential
- Reliable, patient and caring
- Able to work independently and follow routines
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential, as you may be supporting either couple depending on the rota.
- No formal qualifications required – just a caring attitude and common sense
