Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House (FOH) Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred, along with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and respectfully, ensuring a positive impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while maintaining presentation standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during service, including proper handling of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout shifts, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Address guest enquiries courteously, resolving any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills, prioritising tasks during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy service hours.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximise sales opportunities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
