Business Systems Analyst
We are looking for a self-motivated Business Systems Analyst to join the IT team based in Macclesfield. The individual will play a key role in driving forward digital transformation, working with the different departments across the business to promote change.
We have a complex ecosystem including an ERP system, WMS system, a PIM system, e-commerce website built on customised platform and marketplace integration platforms. We are looking for someone to help support these as well as help drive improvements.
Roles and responsibilities
- Identify improvements to be made and collaborate with the teams to make this happen.
- Assist in User acceptance testing for development work from internal developers and external third parties. Feeding back results so issues can be fixed.
- Create and distribute users guides where needed.
- Review, prioritise and resolve issues raised by users via Jira where possible. Escalating cases where needed.
- Working with third parties to identify issues and finding a resolution which works for the business.
Required Skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Written and verbal communication, able to adapt language to suit different stakeholders
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads and demonstrate flexibility when demands change
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio etc
- Business analysis methodologies and frameworks
Preferred skills/experience
- Knowledge of Jira or similar system
- Knowledge of retail/e-commerce/warehouse operations
- Knowledge/experience in IT background
