Overview
We are seeking a reliable Tipper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in driving to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- Operate Tipper vehicles safely and in accordance with road safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to designated locations promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including vehicle maintenance and load securing procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as a grab or tipper driver
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge of lorries, flatbeds, and related equipment is advantageous.
- Experience operating tipper vehicles or similar transport equipment preferred.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for load securement.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate organisational skills, and manage time efficiently. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to safe driving practices and excellent service delivery within the logistics sector.
