Duties
- Perform roofing repairs and installations, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
- Conduct plumbing tasks such as pipe fitting, leak repairs, and fixture installations with precision.
- Execute welding projects for structural fabrication, repairs, or custom metalwork using various welding techniques.
- Handle electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and installations following safety standards and schematics.
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out carpentry work including framing, finishing, and custom woodwork.
- Apply plastering techniques for wall finishes and prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments.
- Engage in masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, or concrete finishing to support building foundations and structures.
- Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist with construction painting projects to enhance aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
- Fabricate metal components or structures as needed for various projects using specialized fabrication tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry or related trades.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform construction tasks with attention to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques and plastering methods is preferred.
- Experience working with fabrication equipment or masonry materials is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
- Construction-related certifications or licenses are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is appreciated.
