With over 30 qualified pest control technicians covering the South, South East, London boroughs, and now expanding into the Midlands, our operations continue to grow. Our busy and dynamic office in Grazeley is home to a team of 25+ staff who support daily operations and ensure excellent service delivery.
The role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. This is an important role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, payments are allocated correctly, and customer and supplier accounts are maintained efficiently.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and previous experience working within an accounts or finance environment. Full training on our internal systems will be provided.
What you’ll do
- Raise and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments
- Manage supplier invoices and assist with payment processing
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations and reporting
- Liaise with customers regarding payments, account queries, and statements
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
- Support the wider office team with finance-related administration
- Work closely with operational departments to ensure billing accuracy
- Assist with credit control and aged debt management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers while delivering excellent service
What you’ll bring
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts assistant, finance administrator, purchase ledger, sales ledger, or similar role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Professional and confidential handling of financial information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Weekly schedule to be confirmed
- Weekend work may be required on a rota basis

- £27,300 per annum + performance bonus
