Hours: 16 hours per week, ideally spread across 4 days (approximately 9:00am–1:00pm), although some flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised part-time Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our office on a permanent basis. This varied role is responsible for leading administrative tasks while supporting customer service, procurement, and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, telephone calls, visitors, and business correspondence.
· Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
· Process customer purchase orders, prepare quotations, and produce shop floor job cards.
· Maintain accurate company records, filing systems, production hours, timesheets, holiday, and absence records.
· Prepare documentation for meetings, including agendas and minutes.
· Manage procurement by raising purchase orders, monitoring outstanding orders, maintaining records, and liaising with suppliers.
· Assist with payroll administration and reporting.
· Support company marketing through social media updates.
· Maintain office supplies, workwear, consumable stock, and ensure the office remains organised and well presented.
· Provide administrative support to the General Manager and wider team, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience is preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to work.
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or production environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
