We are an independent occupational therapy practice expanding our multi-disciplinary team to include Speech and Language Therapy provision. Our mission is to support as many children and young people as possible to achieve a quality of life and level of independence that is meaningful to them.
We are a fully mobile service, with visits conducted in homes and schools. There is no expectation of office working, just purposeful, child-centred work delivered flexibly.
We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist experienced in EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) work to provide school-based support on a self-employed associate basis.
Role responsibilities:
- Delivering assessment and input for children with speech, language, and communication needs.
- Contributing to EHCP assessments and annual review reports.
- Liaising with school staff, families, and other professionals to support effective provision.
- Managing your own workload with professionalism and confidence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of paediatric SLT experience.
- Confidence in independent working and managing your own caseload.
- Access to your own clinical supervision (as this is a self-employed associate role).
- Availability for at least 2 full days per week during school hours.
- Ideally living in close commute to Croydon.
