Housekeeper / Domestic CleanerJob Summary
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a beautiful private home to an exceptional standard. This is a permanent position based at one fixed property, ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, organised and welcoming home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of household cleaning, laundry and general housekeeping. You will work independently, managing your daily tasks to ensure the home remains immaculate and well organised.
Previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas of the home to a consistently high standard.
- Dust, vacuum and mop floors throughout the property.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms and kitchen areas.
- Make beds and change bed linen regularly.
- Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry.
- Iron clothing and household linens to a high standard.
- Load, unload and empty the dishwasher.
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.
- Empty household bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Organise wardrobes, cupboards and storage areas where required.
- Report any maintenance issues or breakages promptly.
- Follow safe working practices and maintain cleaning equipment.
About You
- Previous housekeeping, hotel housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with high cleaning standards.
- Confident with ironing and garment care.
- Organised and able to manage your workload independently.
- Trustworthy, discreet and respectful of privacy.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties.
