Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the bar area. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous. A friendly demeanour, good organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality are essential.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to food safety regulations
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including responsible alcohol service
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or areas as required during busy periods
Qualifications
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable but not mandatory
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role
