About Adelo
Adelo are a UK-based software company with an all-in-one content and engagement platform. We help organisations bring their ideas to life. Our software is dynamic, and produces engaging virtual events, smartphone platforms for in-person events, and on-demand content hubs that educate, connect, and inspire. These interactions are all captured in detailed reports, delivering transparent insights into performance and impact.
Our mission is simple: to make communication easier, events more interactive, and insights more accessible.
Our platform is designed for teams who want to truly understand their audience. With powerful analytics, interactive features, and full-service support, we make online events, conferences, and marketing activities not just more data-driven, but more enjoyable too.
We've also built an AI product that's changing the way webinars are delivered, helping teams uncover deeper insights into audience engagement than most platforms can reach. It's one of the most exciting parts of the business to be involved in right now, and a real chance to get hands-on with AI technology from the inside.
Much of our client base sits in medical communications, pharma, healthcare and wellness, so if you've already got contacts or experience in those worlds, you'll feel right at home with the people you're talking to every day.
About the job
We’re growing our client services team ahead of a busy project season from September, and we’re hiring a Digital Events Project Manager with account management experience to join us.
This role is covering a period of maternity leave, but it comes with a genuine route to a permanent place on our Accounts team once the cover period ends. For the right person, this is a foot in the door to a long-term career with us, not just a temporary contract. We’ve done it before, and we’d love to do it again. We’re also hiring a second, more traditional Project Manager role starting at £30,000 to £36,000, so if that sounds like a closer fit, take a look at that listing instead.
In this role, you’ll often be the face of the company, so strong communication skills, whether that’s over the phone, by email or in person, are a must. Being able to quickly understand what a client needs, spot an opportunity to grow the relationship, and troubleshoot on the spot will help set you up for success.
If you’re someone who thrives in an evolving, collaborative environment, enjoys working with great people, and gets a kick out of turning a good client relationship into a bigger one, we’d love to hear from you.
Main responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them from project kick-off through to delivery, offering clear guidance and support throughout.
- Oversee several accounts, managing client queries and expectations, and spotting opportunities to grow and retain that business.
- Build digital platforms for webinars, in-person events, and on-demand content hubs using our content and registration software (full training provided).
- Take ownership of project timelines and communications, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned at every stage.
- Lead on platform structure, styling, and functionality updates, reviewing and proofreading content, coordinating design changes, and keeping clients informed throughout.
- Collaborate as a core member of the project management team, contributing to the successful delivery of multiple concurrent client projects.
- Manage the delivery of live virtual events and webinars, including speaker management, show calling and production oversight.
- Support team members on live virtual events and webinars, assisting attendees with platform access and questions via our live support feature.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of live events, acting as the main client contact onsite and liaising with onsite teams such as AV, briefing speakers on platform use, setting up hired devices and providing on-site user assistance.
- Onboard and train clients on our new self-service platform as we roll it out (full training provided).
- Establish strong rapport with others and present the company in the best possible light.
- Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and support our wider sales effort. Client relationships you build well often turn into the next piece of business.
Desired Skills and Experience
You’ll need:
- At least 3 years’ agency experience, ideally from webinars, in-person events, or a medical communications agency, plus a track record of managing and growing client accounts.
- Real account management experience. You’ve renewed, grown or upsold existing client relationships before, not just delivered projects for them.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client management and service skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude when handling changing client expectations and deadlines.
- The confidence to manage a number of different high-profile clients at the same time.
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology, and the ability to pick up new software and platforms quickly.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence with Microsoft Office.
Even better if you have:
- A little black book: existing relationships with agencies, brands or in-house teams in our space that you could bring into the mix.
- Existing contacts, relationships or experience in medical communications, pharma, healthcare or wellness. You’ll be able to hit the ground running with clients and conversations that already feel familiar.
- Experience with digital events, webinars or content management systems.

- Certificate of Higher Education
