Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Bartender to join our vibrant team. The role offers flexible part time hours, on a temporary basis during until approximately October 2026; with the potential for a permanent placement. Weekend and evening availability is essential. Only candidates aged 18 years or older will be considered.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred; although training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers.
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service.
