We are a long-standing, family-run independent garage right here in Taunton, with over 100 years of trade experience. Our business is growing, our workshop is busy, and we are looking for a skilled, reliable Vehicle Technician to join our close-knit team.
If you are tired of main dealer pressures, chasing unrealistic targets, and losing your weekends, this is for you.
What We Offer:
· Salary: £35,000.00 basic per annum.
Immediate Bonus: £2000 joining bonus*
· Extras: Monthly rewarding bonus structure.
· Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30.
· Weekends: None. Ever. Enjoy your time off!
What We Are Looking For:
· NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent proven trade experience).
· A valid UK driving licence.
· Solid diagnostic and servicing skills.
· An MOT Tester licence is a massive bonus!
The position requires a person who can work independently & as part of a team on a variety of cars & light commercial vehicles. The role will involve servicing, repairs, tyres, wheel alignment, diagnostics and other work related to a busy vehicle workshop.
We aim to offer a dealer level service at an aftermarket price and pride ourselves in the service levels we offer.
