A great opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join the catering department at William Booth College. We offer a varied working day, where you will be assisting across the campus catering operation. We provide daily lunches for cadets and staff, breakfast for the onsite accommodation guests, hospitality & working lunches. We also cater for small weekend courses and large-scale events.

Historic William Booth College has been at the heart of Salvation Army leadership training since its completion in 1929 and is the foundation for delivering education, training, and conference events for The Salvation Army's staff and volunteers from across the United Kingdom and further afield. Our unique College offers over 130 accommodation options, 14 meeting rooms, catering, and event space to a wide variety of Salvation Army and non-Salvation Army visitors, with differing needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to H&S and F&H standards

Ensure food preparation areas, utensils and equipment are cleaned and organised at the start, during, and end of the day.

Checking on receipt and the storing of deliveries

Ensure stock rotation of dry stores

Adhering to the daily and weekly cleaning schedules

Ensure all HACCP and COSHH standards are adhered to
