Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our small team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a preparing vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Painter will be expected to handle various tasks related to surface preparation and finishing to a good standard
Requirements:
- Spray paint Horseboxes/commercial vehicles
- Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding and other necessary preparation work
- Good time keeping and reliability
- Positive attitude towards work
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Knowledge and understanding of paint & mixing
- Responsible for cleaning of spray guns, mixing room and spray booths
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised during and after painting tasks.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when moving materials or equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain an understanding of safety protocols and adhere to them at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
