Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Production Administrator for our client in the Bridgwater area. Our client is a market leader in their field, supplying into a variety of industries.
The Role:
You will be responsible for planning and scheduling the production of parts in line with customer requirements. You will also be responsible for assigning materials, resources and the first point of contact for internal sales and logistics. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and manage production plans to meet customer demand and maximise capacity.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Dispatch to maintain delivery performance.
- Prioritise orders, manage schedule changes, and respond to urgent customer requirements.
- Raise and maintain customer and production orders accurately within the ERP system.
- Monitor capacity, backlogs and production issues, escalating risks and supporting continuous improvement.
- Provide timely communication, maintain accurate records, and support daily planning activities and meetings.
About you:
- Experienced in planning, order management, supply chain, customer service with a background in manufacturing
- Strong analytical background
- An understanding of MRP/ERP and manufacturing planning techniques
- Detail orientated
- Grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent
