Are you enthusiastic, energetic, and ready to create an unforgettable holiday camp experience? We are looking for Holiday Club Coaches to deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive activities during our programmes.
We are running these holiday programmes at a number of locations across the East Suffolk Region to deliver activities and provide opportunities for children and young people from 6 up to 16. See below for our locations.
We offer age-appropriate physical fun and enriching activities that provide children with an opportunity to develop new skills & try out new experiences, including nutritional education aimed at improving children’s knowledge and awareness of healthy eating.
Activities include Multi Sports, Archery, Arts & Crafts and team building activities.
Our programmes are covering 4 weeks in the Summer Holidays
The dates are
- w/c 27th July
- w/c 3rd Aug
- w/c 10th Aug
- w/c 17th Aug
The Sessions are Mon - Thurs, times are 9.30-2.30
At our locations - in Woodbridge IP12 4AU
During our programmes you role will be to -
- Support the Holiday Club Leader to deliver an excellent service, which includes leading a variety of activities or managing a group when they are participating in an activity.
- Encourage teamwork, confidence-building, and skill development.
- Ensure safety of all young people on the programme and ensure all activities are inclusive and can meet individual needs.
- Be enthusiastic throughout each day by fostering a safe, friendly, and supportive atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow team members
What we are looking for :
- Experience of working with children and young people in a school, youth work, or holiday camp setting.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and passionate about delivering engaging activities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
All applicants will need to :
- Have an Enhanced DBS Check undertaken (Essential)
- Hold an Activity or Sport Qualification (Desirable)
- Undertake Safeguarding & Prevent Training and 1st Aid (where required)
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 weeks
Pay: £75.00 per day
