Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Deputy Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence across our organization. Responsibilities
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with the day to day running and management of the setting.
- Acting as Manager in Charge in the Nursery Manager's absence and taking responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the nursery.
- Supporting the delivery of high quality teaching, learning and care for all children.
- Monitoring children's learning, development and progress, ensuring observations, assessments and planning are completed appropriately.
- Exceptional knowledge of the EYFS.
- Working closely with the SENCO and other professionals to support children with additional needs.
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with staff supervisions, mentoring and performance management.
- Facilitate effective communication across departments to promote collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
- Supporting induction and training of new staff and students.
- Supporting OFSTED readiness and assisting with insepctions.
- Monitoring the quality of practice across rooms.
- Promoting Posotieve behaviour and ensuring staff use appropriate postive behaviour management strategies.
- Supporting the DSL with Safeguarding matters where required.
- Supporting effective communication with parents and carers, building positive and professional relationships.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an educational or organizational setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, children and parents.
- Demonstrated ability to organize tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of teaching methodologies is highly desirable to support educational initiatives.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and record-keeping systems.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
