The role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable multi-franchise motor mechanic to join our busy team.
You will service, diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles. The successful candidate will take pride in their work, be self-motivated and confidently use their own initiative to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out inspections, maintenance and general repairs
- Completing all work safely, accurately and efficiently
- Identifying additional work that may be required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Communicating clearly with colleagues and customers
- Delivering consistently high standards of workmanship
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a motor mechanic or vehicle technician
- Experience working across multiple vehicle manufacturers
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, dependable and able to use your own initiative
- Ability to manage your workload effectively
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant motor-vehicle qualifications are preferred
