As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and detail-driven Office and Accounts Assistant to join our team at Esprick.
The Role
This is a varied office-based role supporting our account’s function and wider business operations. You'll play a key part in keeping our finances accurate and our suppliers and subcontractors paid correctly and on time. Key responsibilities include:
- Purchase Ledger: Managing material invoices, ensuring they match our purchase orders and are processed for payment.
- Subcontractor Payments: Assisting with the processing of weekly subcontractor payments, helping ensure payments are calculated accurately and that all industry-specific tax requirements (such as CIS) are met.
- Statement Reconciliations: Working with our key suppliers to ensure accounts are balanced and any discrepancies are resolved quickly.
- Data Management: Maintaining an organised filing system for financial records, and assisting with month-end reporting and bank reconciliations.
- Business Management Systems: Managing our internal systems to ensure compliance across a wide range of business areas, such as fleet and health & safety.
What We're Looking For
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Sage and SuperPay is a distinct advantage. You must also be comfortable using Microsoft Excel.
- Numerical Accuracy: A sharp eye for figures and a high level of attention to detail.
- Communication: A professional manner for building relationships with our suppliers and site teams.
- Must be able to travel to our Esprick office.
What We Offer
- Salary of £26,000 – £30,000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
