NR Marine Services owns and operates a growing fleet of crew transfer vessels working in UK and European waters. Due to increasing business requirements, we are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our great team!
The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial and accounts department, requiring proven financial and business experience with strong organisational skills.
This is an onshore role and based in our office in Caister-on-sea, Norfolk, UK.
Responsibilities
- Actively seeking suitable vessel charters to ensure high productivity of our fleet
- Completing vessel tenders for clients and brokers
- Creating and keeping monthly financial cash forecasts and the year ahead budget
- Completing the monthly P and L sheet
- Checking and approving payment invoices to suppliers
- Calculating month end vessel costs including port dues and fuel costs
- Creating monthly vessel invoices to our clients including VAT requirements
- Completing monthly KPI sheets for vessel, crew and company performance
- Attending client monthly meetings
- Creating client monthly reports
- Liaising with company accountants on commercial matters
- Keeping commercial procedures and policies up to date
- Dealing with insurance claims and renewals
- Driving business development and company growth
- Negotiating and overseeing commercial contracts and agreements
· Liaising with stakeholders and clients
· Working to further improve business processes
You will need
· Proven finance and management experience
· A methodical approach to work and good attention to detail
· Experience with negotiation and building relationships with clients
· Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team
· Excellent computer skills and reporting experience
· The right to work in the UK and your own transport

Salary detailed below please note there is a structured performance bonus tied to individual set KPI's.
Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
