School Contracts,Private Hire & Tour Driver (Full-time) Coach Driver Position
Most of our work from Easter to September will be back to back tour work in the UK In Europe.
Key Responsibilities
· Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate coaches on , private hires, Tours and excursions, ensuring safety and punctuality at all times.
· Customer Service Excellence: Welcome passengers on board, assist with luggage, answer questions, and provide a friendly, helpful atmosphere throughout each journey.
· Route Planning: Follow planned itineraries, adapt to traffic conditions, and use navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
· Vehicle Care: Conduct daily safety checks, report defects, maintain cleanliness, and refuel or replenish supplies as necessary.
· Compliance: Observe all road traffic laws, regulations, and company policies, including drivers’ hours, tachograph usage, and health & safety requirements.
· Record Keeping: Accurately complete journey logs, incident reports, and any required documentation, representing the company with professionalism at all times.
· Teamwork: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, operations personnel, and fellow drivers to coordinate schedules and handle unforeseen circumstances.
Essential Requirements
· Full, valid UK PCV (Category D) driving licence (or equivalent for overseas applicants).
· Up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Up-to-date Digital tacho card
· A clean driving record with no major endorsements or disqualifications.
· Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by schedules.
· Strong awareness of vehicle safety, road conditions, and passenger wellbeing.
· Physical fitness sufficient to assist passengers and handle luggage.
· Professional appearance and punctuality.
Desirable Attributes
· Previous experience as a coach or bus driver,
· First Aid certification.
· Familiarity with local, national and European routes
· Additional language skills.
