This role will involve greeting members of the public, maintaining the excellent health and safety standards in the leisure centre, as well as taking various classes (depending on your skills and experience) and promoting leisure to everyone that makes contact or comes through the door.
To achieve this, you will need to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all time throughout the centre, and demonstrate knowledge of the leisure centre and hotel facilities.
You'll be responsible for supervising the Leisure Centre areas in line with health, safety and hygiene obligations, and making sure these are adhered to ensure everyone's health and safety is maintained.
You may also be using the computer during your shift, to record sales, carry out stock control and answer queries that come in over email, social media and telephone.
Desired Qualifications
· Level 2 Pool Lifeguard or equivalent
· First Aid
· Level 2 Fitness Instructor
· Level 2 Swim Teacher
You will need to be a team worker who engages well with others to ensure things get done.
We also need you to be reliable and a prompt timekeeper, and ideally have a flexible approach to hours.
Some proficiency with computers is also preferred.
