Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including counters and equipment
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, ensuring quality standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Restock supplies and ensure product displays are appealing and well-maintained
- Uphold health and safety regulations consistently throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
