We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- · Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
- · Numeracy skills.
- · Checking skill – (checking and counting pallet contents, picking customer orders).
- · Strong attention to detail.
- · Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask to meet deadlines.
- · Strong communication skills.

- · Ability to work as part of a team and also independently and excellent at building working relationships.
- · Demonstrate good time & attendance.
- · Happy to be able to work in a Physical and demanding environment.
- · Computer literate and ability to learn general computer and system skills.
To be successful in this role:
- · Be flexible and adaptable.
- · Accurately pick and pack orders for shipping and despatch making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
- · Daily loading and unloading containers, trucks, and vans. Transport stock from different parts of the Warehouse.
- · Repacking and relabelling items.
- · Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, including checking for shortages or damaged stock.
- · General warehouse maintenance tasks such as sweeping floors and tidying workspaces, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- · Using initiative to solve problems
- · Resilient to changing and conflicting demands (ability to cope under pressure).
- · Good with stock checking and stock movements.
- · A practical and pro-active approach to work
- · Previous experience in a Warehouse environment.
- · General labouring duties and manual handling.
- · Undertake any other reasonable duties as required in which you are adequately trained to carry out
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.74 per hour
