Duties
- Perform thorough psychiatric evaluations for children and adults suspected of having ADHD, including clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and review of medical history
- Administer and interpret standardized assessment tools to support accurate diagnosis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment strategies that may include medication management, therapy referrals, or lifestyle recommendations
- Provide patient-centered care by explaining diagnoses clearly and discussing treatment options openly
- Monitor patient progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document all assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans accurately in compliance with clinical standards and confidentiality regulations
- Engage with families, caregivers, or support systems to educate and involve them in the treatment process when appropriate
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a clinical or psychiatric setting, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability
