Overview
UAVTEK is looking for a reliable, practical and enthusiastic Production Assistant to immediately join our growing manufacturing team.
This is an entry-level role with full training provided. You'll work across a variety of manufacturing and production activities, supporting the build of advanced unmanned systems and associated technologies. No two days are the same, and the role offers the opportunity to develop new skills across multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly of UAVs, electronic systems and mechanical components
- Learn basic soldering and electronic assembly techniques (full training provided)
- Support 3D printing operations, including machine preparation and post-processing of printed parts
- Prepare materials, components and production kits for assembly
- Operate production equipment, including laser cutting and other manufacturing machinery (training provided)
- Assist with quality inspections and product testing
- Support stock control, inventory management and goods handling
- Help maintain a clean, organised and safe production environment
- Carry out a wide variety of workshop and manufacturing tasks as required
Requirements
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- An interest in engineering, manufacturing, electronics, drones or 3D printing is advantageous but not essential

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
